Winning wedding day looks

In the spirit of spring, we can't help but be inspired by thoughts of warm weather beauty trends–especially when the it remains at arctic temperatures in the Queen City. So for our lovely brides who are planning a spring or summer wedding, we've rounded up some of our favorite trends in the beauty department along with styling tips and the best products for the job. Subtly romantic and quintessentially like spring, floral accents couldn't be prettier for wedding day tresses. Use a texturizing style spray to create tousseled waves and add dimension and a bit of polish with a large-barrel curling iron. For flowers, the possibilities are endless. Have your stylist weave in an elastic floral headband or use tiny blooms from the florist.

An unexpected update on the traditional pink pout, coral feels fresh, playful and equally elegant for the occasion. Just be sure to keep the tube in your clutch for re-application. Go-to hues include Tom Ford True Coral, YSL 27 Rose Paris, and Lancome Sweet Marmalade

When choosing a focus for the face, always remember that balance is key. A statement lip and smokey eye are too much together. With bright lips, a great way to play up the eyes without looking too made up is to create a bright, doe eye. Quality mascara and false eyelashes will be key for achieving the look. Lancome L'Extreme never disappoints. Use an eye brightener to open up the eye and finally swipe a fine line of liquid black eyeliner across the lash line to hide any appearance of your false lashes.
