This popular weekly event features a special host this Wednesday, Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest, along with his deejay, DJ Rasta Root. The patio party starts at 8 p.m. with DJ DR and features free food by Sadie’s Soulful Southern Experience. Nappy Roots and More
It’s a rather random assortment for a Wednesday night in the Queen City, but this party celebrates the birthday of promoter, producer, and filmmaker Drae Jackson. Featuring hip-hop artists Nappy Roots, Crime Mob, Mike Jones, Rich Boy, and hosted by Power 98’s No Limit Larry and DJ Incognito. 9 p.m. Ladies free all night; gentlemen free until midnight. It’s a weekly college night party that attracts many twenty-somethings. And with school back in, look for this week’s edition to be especially festive.
