Beautiful Music

Italian-born Giorgia Fumanti has supermodel looks, which are complemented by her beautiful voice and compassion for others. Following in the tradition of other classically trained singers enjoying mainstream crossover success—think Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman—Fumanti's operatic pop vocals are garnering worldwide raves.

Fumanti, who will be performing with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra on January 19, began singing at age seventeen but didn't actively pursue a music career until after several years studying law. Now, the Canadian-based singer is enjoying worldwide success with her second album, From My Heart, which features her version of the Sting hit "Fields of Gold."

"I want to be a really universal singer because music is a universal language that can join together everyone," Fumanti says. "I want to sing for the young, the old, for everybody."
