Bonterra's Seasonal Dinners
Taste the flavors of the season at this upscale Charlotte eatery

Fall is the best season. There, I said it. The rich flavors of apples, mushrooms, soups, and stews that grace the table; plus, pumpkin everything, makes for a wonderful shift from lemonade and barbeque that come with the laziest days of summer.
To celebrate the harvest season, local restaurant and wine room, Bonterra, will be hosting a special Fall Harvest Dinner as the inaugural feast of its Seasonal Dinner Series. On the first day of each season, Bonterra will offer a special menu highlighting the flavors of that season.
For autumn, Bonterra chef Bill Schutz is featuring a wide array of fall's best offerings:
- Potato and Parmesan Soup garnished with extra virgin olive oil, cracked pepper, and sage
- Roasted Sea Scallops with beet salad, micro basil, and horseradish cream
- Wild Striped Bass served over foraged wild mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash sauce, and molasses syrup
- Grilled Saddle of Venison with brown butter spinach, cauliflower, Carolina gold rice, and a Cabernet sauce
- Apple Turnover with cinnamon ice cream and rosemary
The five course dinner (which comes with wine pairings) is $100 per person, including tax and tip. The seasonal menu will be offered on Sunday, September 22, at 6:30 p.m.. Space is limited, so be sure to call and book your table as soon as possible.
