Wedding inspiration for the bride who loves black
Recently, I had a bride to-be ask my thoughts on the black wedding gown. She, much like myself, is smitten with the mystique this bold, neutral hue holds–and, let's be honest, there's simply no denying its appeal. Black is timeless, the epitome of class and a foolproof color for any ocassion. Nonetheless, life itself presents countless instances for donning black. Cocktail parties, benefits, weddings… it remains a stunning choice for any event. Stark white is certainly not for every bride. But from bone and ivory to blush and peach, bridal hues unquestionably run the gamut. Quintessentially elegant, black stands alone for a winning evening ensemble. But think of it this way: a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Why not wear a once-in-a-lifetime hue? And with a plethora of opportunities to keep this color front and center for the big day, you can easily have your cake and eat it too. Here are a few finishing touches for the bride who loves black.
