Do Jerry Richardson and Michael Jordan Think Charlotte Is Better with a Symphony?
In Indianapolis, the owners of the NFL's Indianpolis Colts and the NBA's Indiana Pacers each pledged $750,000 to the Indianapolis Orchestra, which is struggling to survive like most major orchestras across the country. Herb Simon, owner of the Pacers, had this to say in a news release: “I think Indianapolis is better with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.”
It's sort of hard to imagine Jerry Richardson or Michael Jordan saying the same thing in regards to Charlotte and its orchestra, is it not?
