Passion8 will serve a three-course tasting menu for Father's Day.

Blue Restaurant: Looking to celebrate Father's Day a little early this year? Friday and Saturday, Blue is serving up a surf-and-turf dish for $39.95 that includes a grilled wagyu N.Y. strip steak with lobster fritters and asparagus. You can also order a three-course prix fixe menu, including a salad, dessert, and choice of entrees, including veal pork and porcini bolognese, grilled trout, and berbere-spiced chicken, for $34.95.

The Asbury: Chef Keith Rhodes, a James Beard-nominated chef from Wilmington, N.C., will be on hand to help out The Asbury kitchen with a five-course tasting menu for Father's Day. Rhodes' love of North Carolina seafood will inspire the five courses, two by The Asbury and three of Rhodes' creations. The tasting menu is $65; wine pairings can be added for $25.

RockSalt: Unknown Brewing will hold a "patio takeover" at RockSalt on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., with specials and half-priced oysters on the half-shell. Look for more takeovers to come in the following weeks.

Passion8: Get a good taste of Passion8 without a hefty bill. For Father's Day, the restaurant will serve a three-course brunch menu, with entree options like the pork belly surf-and-turf benedict and nutella-stuffed French toast, for $28 a person. The best part? Brunch ends with a beignet.

Earl's Grocery: It may not be timed to Father's Day, but Earl's Grocery will start serving brunch at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. That means we can't vouch for it just yet, but knowing Chef Marc Jacksina, it will be pretty tasty.
