It’s been a season of anniversaries for Dr. Kathryn D. Savitsky.

She not only just marked 30 years of practicing dentistry—her office in Ballantyne also just celebrated its 20th anniversary. In fact, being part of that community is a point of particular pride for the general and cosmetic dentist: “The thing I am most proud of is being part of the Ballantyne community long enough to see it from its inception to its amazing growth now!” she says. “My office is located directly across the street from the Ballantyne Bowl and it has truly become a destination area. It’s been an amazing 20 years being right here in the heart of Ballantyne!”

Dr. Savitsky graduated from Boston University in 1994, practicing in Florida before entering the local Charlotte market in 2002. Her accolades locally include her selection as Top Dentist in this magazine for more than 10 years. And though she’s been a long-standing member of the community: The practice has been making same-day crowns in office for more than 15 years. Further, her office has been treating patients with Invisalign for more than two decades—a move that came shortly aft er the creation of the system was created.

Th at penchant for innovation extends to her entire Ballantyne-based office, too: A recent remodel of their office included up-dating all digital X-ray units and its digital scanner, making the office completely impression free. As evidenced above, digital dentistry has been a longtime passion for Savitsky. “I am very proud of the experience that I have gained over the years by keeping up with the latest technology and bringing it to my patients on a daily basis,” she adds.
