Feeling the Flow
Native Charlottean Tara Davis put her fashion design talent aside for years to focus on building her family. Now, her sketchbook is open again and she's added a new collection: Flow Signature. Davis, thirty-six, accentuates a woman's figure by incorporating form-hugging and flattering silk knits, jerseys, and blends in her dresses. The line's custom frocks ($148 to $448) are available in three staple colors: black, brick red, and cocoa.
PERRIS boutique is the first local spot to stock Flow Chic, Davis's new trendier, ready-to-wear line, which boasts hues in eggplant, caramel, and jade in addition to Flow Signature's standard colors. Check out Davis's personal favorite: a denim dress with a flounced-ruffle neckline, empire waist, and straight skirt, which she designed for the spring 2008 collection.
