Triple C Brewing Company is throwing its second-annual Farm Hands event Sunday night, using local beer to raise money for local farmers.

Football Finale
The Super Bowl is over, but come out to Dress For Success’ second-annual event that brings former National Football League players out to discuss the good, the bad and the ugly about last Sunday’s big game. Proceeds go to this organization that provides local women with clothing, financial literacy and job planning to help get them out of poverty. Thursday Shenanigans After-Work Mixer

The Limo Races
Trying to get a limousine rental for tonight? Good luck! RockHouse Events has secured a slew of Charlotte’s limos for this annual event that’s billed as “part prom, part bar crawl, part scavenger hunt.” Hop in with a team, receive some complimentary beverages and for the next three and a half hours, race around some of the city's top spots. Arrive to the finish line by midnight and turn in all of your evidence from the scavenger hunt and then head over to the post-event VIP party. $575 per team of 10; $875 per team of 14. Nostalgia
Music brought to you by KATOBEATS, and will take you back to “when hip hop was hip hop,” according to the organizers. Breakaway Sports is (literally) throwing this tournament. The games will follow a five-on-five format, with a one girl per team minimum. (Props from me if you include more women than men.) This second-annual event raises money to help local farmers fund their “big ideas.” In addition to Triple C’s local brews, you’ll also get to feast on a local food menu from ModPaleo. To top it off, you’ll hear the finalists present their ideas for a project before voting for the farmer you think should receive a micro-grant from Farm Hands. 6-8 p.m. $25 and up.
