Pints for Paws
Spay Neuter Charlotte, a nonprofit clinic that provides services to prevent euthanasia of cats and dogs, celebrates its third anniversary. The Charlotte Gamecock Club hosts this viewing party for local alumni and fans of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Alive After Five (weekly event)
The city’s largest weekly, after-work party is heading down its final stretch for the year, with music this evening by Departure (Journey tribute band) on the rooftop stage. And after several weeks of local singers competing, The Charlotte Voice competition concludes on the commons stage. Live Music and Tequila

Charlotte’s Favorite Happy Hour
This monthly social and networking event, hosted by Herb and Felicia Gray, draws hundreds of professionals and socialites at each stop. Bearden Birthday Bash (Friday-Sunday)
This weekend-long event celebrates the birthday of Charlotte native and legendary artist, the late Romare Bearden, and commemorates the first year of this Uptown park that’s named after him. The family-friendly event includes live jazz by more than a dozen musicians and bands, an Art Walk featuring many Charlotte-area artists, local food vendors, and children’s activities. The Scotch Society of Ballantyne

Booze, Brews, and Bacon Fest

The Return of Su Casa
The monthly event for “Charlotte’s culturally starved” had to find a new home after Dharma Lounge closed, and now it’s back with the same eclectic vibe.
