Jason Wu for Target Lookbook Unveiled

Jason Wu for Target

Target really doesn't have to do anything more to get my seal of approval in basically all categories. But I have to say, I was a bit miffed at the entire brand when Missoni's special for-Target line hit stores last fall and sold out rapidly, causing the store's online site to crash and me to cry. But Target's redeeming itself, my friends, and I am no longer mad. Jason Wu's new collaboration line for Target is gasp-garnering, and I am DETERMINED to, this time, be one of the lucky shoppers who snags designer steals. I pity the fool who stands in my way.

Anyway, back to the line. It hits stores and the web February 5-March 6, but we know that the shelves will be sparse far too soon. Target released the 53-piece collection's lookbook on Tuesday, revealing an "American girl in Paris" theme that includes dresses, tops, trenchcoats, handbags, and shoes priced at around $19.99-$59.99.

Wu's designs are delicate, feminine, and approachably avant-garde. This collaboration takes flight in A-line dresses, high-waisted skirts, button-up shirts, and printed scarves; feminine color pallettes, like blush and ivory, and more vibrant tones, like crimson and navy; and patterns, like stripes and floral prints.

I'm in love.
