Jonas Brothers' Family to Open Restaurant in Belmont
The musical trio's family plans to open an eatery in Belmont

"Our hometown is thriving, and we want to help bring more visitors to town. Kevin, Joe and Nick have always loved visiting Belmont and look forward to their continued visits as we open the restaurant." Keeping it all in the family, Jonas's sister Joy Auten will serve as managing director and cousin Danielle Davison Jonas will serve as operations manager.
The space, which was formerly home to an antique and consignment shop, has started construction, and there's already buzz about the rooftop patio and southern-style cuisine served for lunch and dinner.
What kind of southern-style cuisine? There are plans to use old Jonas family recipes enhanced with local ingredients – all developed by Executive Chef Ben Sholiton. Guests can expect to find fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, homemade breads and pies, and, of course, shrimp and grits on the menu. There will even be some lighter versions of Southern classics for those thinking about starting their own musical trios …
