Kick Off Festival Season with Symphony in the Park

PACK A LAWN CHAIR, a picnic blanket, and a bottle of wine. Spread out on the wide, rolling lawn beside SouthPark Mall, where trees block the noise from passing traffic. You’ll see friends and neighbors, toddlers, teenagers. They all come out on Sunday evenings in June to hear the Charlotte Symphony play its Summer Pops series.

Here's this year's schedule:
June 5: Summer Pops: Opening Night
June 12: Symphony Swings
June 19: A Night for "Pops": The Music of John Williams
June 23: The Music of David Bowie – Belk Theater
June 26: Oh, the Places You'll Go!
July 1: Celebrate America
