The Metropolitan at Midtown has a new destination for style. Lipp Boutique, a contemporary women’s apparel and accessories outpost that carries hard-to-find designer lines, opened in January. It’s the flagship store for owner Shital Vaghasiya, who plans to open a second location later this year. She’s a serial entrepreneur who moved here from Chicago three years ago. When she couldn’t find the designers she was used to seeing, she decided to open her own boutique.

“I handpicked what I think is a great mix of up-and-coming designers, as well as more established designer lines,” she says. The mix includes clothing, jewelry, makeup, handbags, and shoes by the likes of Isabel Lu, Lumiere, J. J. Winters, Tolani, and Vince Camuto. The offerings are priced at varying points, from spunky, $108 spring dresses to top-of-the-line, $189 handbags. 1111 Metropolitan Ave; 704-370-2440; lippboutique.com
