The Charlotte area’s newest chop shop, Hudson E. Hudson Salon, is doling out fresh cuts, color, and highlights. From the wine and iPad you’re offered at check-in, which allows you to peruse apps like Hair Book for ideas, to the reclining shampoo seats and blow dryers that dangle from the ceiling, the experience is pretty novel, too. The salon, a super-mod palette of steel-gray walls, crystal chandeliers, white chairs, and an all-white floor, offers the Bumble and Bumble Concen-Straight Pro Smoothing Treatment, which is free of parabens, cysteine, lye, and formaldehyde.
