Match Made
Online dating leads to billboards

Thirty-two-year-old Rabbi Michael Shields was single when he moved to Charlotte almost three years ago. So he tried online dating. Yep, rabbis need love, too. He posted a profile on JDate, the Jewish version of Match.com, and it wasn’t long before he met Jacquie Wolochwianski, thirty-two. She’d been about to give up on online dating when her dad offered to pay for a renewed subscription. Then the two met. Fast forward a year and a half and the couple, now engaged, are the poster children for online dating. Literally. They’re on a billboard promoting JDate in New York’s Times Square.
