McColl Center Closes Innovation Institute

SINCE 2005, the McColl Center for Art + Innovation hosted the Innovation Institute, a program that paired artists with individuals and businesses hoping to ignite their creativity. As of this month, the institute is now closed. In a message on its site, the McColl says it's at "at an exciting juncture of championing contemporary artists and sparking creative experiences, and we are making space for new pathways to innovation and sustainability."
The institute was founded by longtime McColl president and CEO Suzanne Fetscher, who retired in September. The sessions started with the stated intention of being place where “the innovative minds of corporate and community leaders and successful career artists can come together to transform how business people apply the creative process to corporate problem solving.”
