A personal stylist helps clients organize their existing wardrobes, shop for new clothes, and identify what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing. That’s only part of what Iesha Marie Fox does as a brand stylist. “It’s different from personal styling,” she says. “I’m focused on what you want to accomplish in your business. It’s not leisurely styling—your business is a priority. We do a deep dive into your brand style identity.”

Clients begin with a consultation: Fox shows them a series of images to note what colors and silhouettes they like. Then she does a color analysis to identify what colors complement the client’s skin tone, eye color, and hair color. Next is a body-type analysis to determine what silhouettes are most flattering.

“A lot of real estate agents already have brand colors and want professional looks for videos where they’re showing million-dollar homes. They want to look the part online,” Fox says. “Interior designers show a lot of their work on social media and want looks to attract more clients through their digital platforms.”

“I love getting to know these women and becoming a part of their vision and brand.”

Fox’s clients, who also include leadership consultants and corporate executives, want cohesive, professional looks for headshots, speaking events, or marketing videos. “This may be her first time stepping into her style, so it’s a mindset shift,” Fox says. “Style gives her that finishing touch. It’s not everything—it’s the packaging—but it will set you apart in rooms. That’s your calling card.”

Fox offers three levels of styling services. A Brand Style Revamp is $1,950 and includes a personalized style strategy session, analysis of the client’s current wardrobe to identify gaps, and four curated, interchangeable looks. A Brand Style Elevation is $2,700 and caters to clients who need styling for an editorial shoot for their digital platforms. An Executive Brand Ascension package is $3,500 and designed for corporate executives who want to revitalize their brands. It includes up to six interchangeable looks.

Fox, 32, is a Charlotte native who says she’s always had an interest in fashion. “I used to play dress-up a lot and look at Vogue magazines and redo the covers in my head,” she says. “My mom was in the corporate world, so watching her come home in business suits piqued my interest.” Fox earned her fashion styling certification from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York and spent time in Los Angeles, working on movie sets and music videos, before she moved back to Charlotte four years ago. “That’s when I shifted to brand styling,” she says. “Now I’m bringing everything I learned together.”

In July, Fox added another layer to her styling services with The Art of Brand Style, an immersive experience to help women in business discover their style identities. She hosted her first event, Bloom Theory, at Folia South End, where guests enjoyed food, cocktails, and a fashion presentation. They also had access to a Dior beauty lounge with makeup consultations and a floral bar where florists styled blooms to match brands’ style and color palettes.

Fox typically works with three clients a month in both Charlotte and LA and shops for their looks at a mix of department stores and local boutiques. “If it’s a major occasion or a branding shoot, I try to find brands that are less accessible so not everyone has it,” she says. “If it’s a high-end shoot for TV or press, we’ll have the outfit on loan. If they’ll use it later, we’ll purchase it.”

With her Charlotte-based clients, Fox likes to approach their style in what she calls “a Charlotte-forward way.”

“I love getting to know these women and becoming a part of their vision and brand,” she says. “I’m seeing them in five years—that’s who I’m styling. It’s not who you are today, but where you plan to go.”
