Paper Perfection

Jenny Jordan

In the age of e-mail, e-vites, and instant messages, it feels downright decadent to see your own initials printed at the top of tangible, sumptuous cardstock. "There is something really amazing about having personalized stationery that seems to transcend time and age," says Jenny Jordan (pictured left), creator of Periwinkle Papers, a collection of personalized paper products.

Jordan hand draws each motif, such as precious lambs, tiaras, and alligators for kids, while adults love options like fanciful palm trees, stilettos, golf bags, and beer mugs. The designs can adorn everything from note cards ($20-$50) and writing pads ($18-$28) to custom luggage tags ($16), calling cards, and stickers ($25-$35).

This month, Jordan will unveil a bevy of new products through her Web site and local retailers including a chic, letter-pressed baby announcement collection. Find Periwinkle Papers and local retailers that carry the line at www.periwinklepapers.com.
