Party of Five
Designer collective bridal showcase
From sweet flower girl frocks to intricate lace-trim veils, this collaborative collection showcased it all. Local talent in every facet teamed up with Rachel Gordon of One Love to create a wedding fashion tour de force. A crew of little ones donning designs by The Fresh Stitch kicked off the show in playful tulle dresses, bohemian headpieces by Treats for Tresses, and delicate necklaces by Birdsong Design. Plus an adorable ring bearer in suspenders and a cheeky t-shirt garnered more than a few grins.
Bridesmaids' apparel by Suite 33 followed, featuring simple silhouettes in a mix of jewel tone and neutral hues. Plunging backlines and oversized bows gave minimalist dresses an unexpected dash of playfulness while undone waves and halo braids were in perfect keeping with the beachy feel of the collection. An equal range of long and short options in both prints and solids, Emily Papuga's assortment of ethereal frocks covered every wedding dress code in an effortlessly wearable fashion.
Next, a roundup of boho bridal gowns reminscent of the great Kate Moss took the runway by storm. Scoop backs with sheer detailing and fringe were just a few of the hippie-chic details in this memorable collection from Rachel Gordon's label, One Love. Models sported of-the-moment dainty back necklaces accented by casually swept-up tresses. A formal cathedral length veil paired with a flowy asymmetrical hem gown and floral sash made for an unexpected mix of elements, evoking images of an English countryside affair on a quaint horse farm. Sultry yet sweet, this collection couldn't be more fitting for rustic, ultra-romantic I Do's.
