Specialty Adorable husband-and-wife duo Lucy and Steven Randall keep their {bullet}booth simple with a plain white backdrop so that their raw and inherently hilarious yet classically cool photos shine.

PROPS: A creative artist in Charlotte custom designs the playful props such as sombreros, mustaches, and goofy eyeglasses for the duo’s {bullet}booth. For a fee, the designer can create custom props and backgrounds (read: faux footballs and an image of Carter-Finley Stadium for the N.C. State fan).

PRICE: $1,100 for three hours and an additional $200/hour thereafter.

Specialty Classic photo-booth photos are this South End-based company’s expertise. Expect amusement-park-like images guests can take home, each of which can be personalized with a custom design overlay (e.g., the bride and groom’s names and wedding date). Bonus: They also offer video in the booth. 

PROPS: Feather boas, fedoras, plastic mustaches, and more are part of Shoebox’s arsenal of humorous props.

PRICE: From $600 for two hours, which includes all of the photos and a scrapbook/guestbook featuring every photo-booth image taken that evening, with guests’ handwritten well-wishes for the happy couple.

Specialty This husband-and-wife team’s simple, classic images are transformed into comical (and often lovable) vignettes via a simple white backdrop and some playful props. 

PROPS: Think simple: Rainbow confetti, flowers, even coffee mugs play a supporting role in The Schultzes’ minimalistic but cool photo-booth pics. The subjects are the true props here.

PRICE: $1,000, which includes the entire time they are shooting the reception (they don’t offer the photo booth solo, unfortunately) as well as all of the high-res images on a USB with the rights to print.
