Pike Nursery Opens in Lake Norman Tomorrow with Plant Discounts & Garden Party

We recently reported on a new garden center opening in Lake Norman, and though the initial goal was for the nursery to open in late March, Pike Nurseries' third Charlotte-area location will officially open tomorrow, April 26. Many Lake Norman residents have been able to see the massive gardening store's construction progress thanks to its visible location on Statesville Road in Cornelius, right across from Tenders.

The 40,000-square-foot nursery will be hosting a garden party to celebrate their opening tomorrow. From 4 to 8 p.m., stop by the store at 18234 Statesville Road to enjoy wine, appetizers, and 20 percent off your entire purchase. The discount is only offered at the Lake Norman location, so even if you're not a local to the area, you might enjoy special pricing on plants while checking out a new garden center option. The party will then continue on April 28 with the Grand Opening Event; green-thumbed guests are invited to enjoy free hot dogs fresh off the grill as they shop for spring and summer plants. There will also be special savings throughout the store on April 28.
