Photographer Deborah Triplett shares a look at her backyard haven

“I really look at my whole garden as a metaphor for life. When I moved in, [the backyard] was just grass. I’ve always been a gardener, but this is the first garden where I realized my full vision. I really [created the garden] for myself, but I think subconsciously I was creating little photographable vignettes. I am out here a lot. I’m especially proud of it because I did it all myself.”
