PPL Announces Speaker Lineup, Including Arianna Huffington

Charlotte magazine first told you about the PPL, which will serve as a home-away-from-home for independent media visiting Charlotte during the DNC, in the August 2011 issue. Well, the plans have come together, and the space is looking good. The hub will be based at uptown's Packard Place, at Third and Church streets. And they've announced an impressive lineup of speakers. Arianna Huffington will moderate a panel on female entrepreneurs as job creators (sounds like catnip to Dem politicians). The panel includes Molly Barker from Girls on the Run, Sara Garces, founder of Packard Place, Kay Koplovitz, Founder of USA Network and Chairwoman of Springboard, and Jacqueline Patterson, Founder, Sheercom LLC.
