Project Tuesday at H Bar, Chef Jay’s ‘Chopped’ Viewing Party, Young Jeezy After-Party
It’s an eventful Tuesday this week. Check out these parties

Tuesday, August 2
Project Tuesday
The McDevitt Agency, Charlotte’s hip real estate firm, is hosting its next Project Tuesday event. The agency puts on this “cosmopolitan experience” about once every other month at a different chic restaurant, bar, or lounge. For this Tuesday’s event, McDevitt has partnered with Revolution boutique to present a fashionable evening. There will be models in attendance showcasing fashions for summer and fall, a DJ playing your favorite tunes, and photographers on hand so come camera-ready. There will also be complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drink specials. 6-8 p.m. Free. Valet parking available. H Bar, inside Hotel Sierra, 435 E. Trade St., projecttuesday.com.
Chopped Viewing Party for Chef Jay
Chef Jay Jones, executive chef and owner of Charlotte-based Chateau Noir catering company, is making his national television debut Tuesday on Food Network’s Chopped. Chef Jay’s peeps are throwing him a viewing party and you’re invited to come out and watch how he fares in this cooking competition show. Complimentary food will be served and there will be a meet-and-greet with the chef. Festivities begin at 9 p.m.; show airs at 10 p.m. Free; RSVP to Jameka Whitten at jameka@jswmediagroup.com. Loft 1523, 1523 Elizabeth Ave., facebook.com/ChefJayJones.
Young Jeezy After-Party
After Young Jeezy performs in concert at The Fillmore, he’s hosting a party at Club 935. Look for a big turnout for a Tuesday night. And Jeezy will be joined by video model Brooke Bailey (hopefully some of her beautiful entourage will be in tow). Don’t be surprised if there are other celebrity guest appearances—this is, after all, the club "where the stars party." Music by DJ Farenheit. 10 p.m. $10; ladies free until 11 p.m. Club 935, 935 S. Summit Ave., club935.com.
