Real Wedding: Anna and Erick at Saratoga Springs

Top: Her Leanne Marshall gown from The Sentimentalist in Atlanta had everything Anna wanted: strapless with a snug bodice, lace, and a chiffon skirt. “As soon as I tried it on, I just knew.” She wore a chapel-length veil with a lace border, made and worn by her mother in 1973, adding satin peep-toes and sparkly jewelry. Erick wore dark gray Kenneth Cole paired with a gray, plaid necktie. Bottom: Albertine Florals only needed to complement the lush, summer greenery of The Saratoga Springs with drifts of white flowers to mimic the magnolias overhead.

Attention, Sports Fans! Anna Malloy and Erick Reasoner Stun Fans with Top Game-Day Experience!
These sports nuts started their relationship at a Rangers game, and the love of baseball (and each other) took these two lovebirds to Stetson University athletics, where Erick handles fund-raising, and Anna works in marketing for the Hatters in game-day events. His baseball stadium proposal included the pitcher’s mound, a ring, and all of their friends waiting in the dugout taking pictures.
The bride’s father is an ordained minister, so on the wedding day, after their sweet father-daughter first look and Carolina Strings processional, he gave her away but stayed to help them recite their vows and give the charge. Anna’s favorite moment was Erick squeezing her hand three times; in public, they tap each other three times to say, “I love you.” A horse-drawn carriage whisked them away for a private drive around the beautifully manicured Saratoga Springs in Mount Pleasant. In the elegant, white pavilion, guests feasted around rustic farm tables adorned with burlap and gold runners made by the bride’s mother and milk glass vases of magnolias, coral peonies, and white football mums by Albertine Florals. These No. 1 picks hit the road under a shower of petals for a honeymoon night at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.

Zesty coral maxi bridesmaid dresses from Nordstrom with gold belts and shoes.

The bride’s grandparents’ wedding rings graced her fluffy bouquet of white peonies and mums, designed by Albertine Florals.

The Charlotte-born bride offered bottles of Cheerwine and Sun Drop, while Erick gave bags of Ballreich’s chips, an Ohio specialty.

Rings from Marquirette’s in Auburn, Alabama.

Pink carnation boutonnieres backed with dusty miller and a sprightly Billy ball for color.

The farm tables were lined with gold burlap and adorned with candles, glass vases of peaches, and milk glass centerpieces of pink peonies, white mums and pink carnations.

This traditional bride wore a silver sixpence in her shoe, as well as a 2014 penny for the year of their marriage and a 1988 penny for the year she was born.

The bride and groom cut into a La Patisserie marble cake with white chocolate ruffles and gold foil.
