R enee Phillips and Josh Boswell chose the picturesque Vesuvius Vineyards in Iron Station as the setting for their outdoor wedding. “It took my breath away—absolutely beautiful,” says Renee, who chose to feature the property’s historic Vesuvius house as a backdrop.

Renee wore a strapless Maggie Sottero gown from Hope’s Bridal, accented with a bouquet of orange roses, while Josh sported a light gray suit by Men’s Wearhouse. Bridesmaids wore blue dresses from David’s Bridal and carried pink-and-orange bouquets.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to a gazebo for light snacks, lemonade, and cucumber water while the wedding party took photographs—that is until a lucky wedding day rain moved the party onto a veranda for the evening reception. Tables were adorned with blue linens, pink-and-orange flower arrangements, and white tea lights.

After Renee and Josh celebrated with their first dance, dinner and dancing commenced to a soundtrack provided by Big D’s Christian DJ Service. The evening concluded with the couple cutting their cake—a white, four-tier square cake lined with blue ribbon—followed by a glamorous limousine send-off.
