Restaurant Notes – Zink and Blue

Couple of restaurant updates that have come across my desk:

Zink has reopened uptown. It had been closed for several months for renovations. The cuisine is still American with a dash of Southern. Look for new dishes such as Lobster Mac n Cheese and Niman Ranch Slow Cooked Pork. Also look for a make-your-own burger bar at lunch and a grits bar at brunch.

Also, Blue chef Gene Briggs has launched a monthly series of cooking classes/demonstrations. Cost is $39.95 and includes food and wine. Next up is Greek, on September 6. All classes are at Blue at 11 a.m.
