Finding the coolest accessories and home goods in Charlotte

While picking up my new MINI Cooper at Hendrick MINI on Independence, I noticed the sales team’s sleek desk spaces with curved lines intersecting with chrome, and frosted glass accents. Further inspection (read: I ducked underneath the desk) revealed a Herman Miller logo.

After a bit of Googling, I discovered that Hendrick MINI salespeople are enjoying the Action Office, a versatile, streamlined office system that’s designed to use floor space efficiently. The Action Office (price varies) was first developed in the 1960s as a system that could be combined to become whatever an office needs over time and that could easily adapt to aesthetic changes. The best part: Herman Miller emphasize Earth-conscious design, using sustainable wood supplies, water-based stains, and metal surface coating with no VOCs.

As an admitted tree hugger, I find an environmentally aware commercial office system really appealing. First, the MINI store; next, the world!
