Steve Earle’s son went on to garner his own status as a Americana legend. At 32 years old, he’s released five acclaimed records. Single Mothers, his latest, came out in September of this year.
TUESDAY
CELTIC THUNDER: CHRISTMAS VOICES SYMPHONY TOUR
This is the first symphony-laden tour for Celtic Thunder, and the group brings seasonal tunes to mark it. It’s a mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas music, but the group also offers its own take on Irish traditionals.
WEDNESDAY
FRIENDS & FAMILY MARKET
Thirty-five artists, including Amy Bagwell, Betsy Birkner, Shaun Cassidy, Sharon Dowell, Amy Herman, Don Peeler, Barbara Schreiber, Tom Thoune, Jason Watson, sell their work in CPCC Ross Gallery II. Money made through the market goes toward education programming.
THURSDAY
CHARLOTTE INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
More than 400 automobiles are displayed in this annual show. A family day encourages children to come enjoy the sights with car-enthusiast parents. The show’s preview night costs $50.
