Carolina BBQ Festival

April 4-5

Enjoy live music, shopping, exhibits, and beverages of all kinds as pitmasters prepare whole hogs, brisket, chicken, seafood, hash and rice, and more. Festival proceeds support Operation BBQ Relief, Hungry Heroes, and other charities. This event is part of Charlotte SHOUT!

Downtown Mooresville Festival of Food Trucks

Saturday, April 5

Every first Saturday from April through October (except in July), Mooresville hosts more than 15 food trucks and live music in its downtown social district.

Join New York Times bestselling author and Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey CEO Fawn Weaver for a discussion of her book Love & Whiskey. The evening will also include a whiskey tasting led by Victoria Eady Butler, four-time Master Blender and descendant of Nathan “Nearest” Green, the first-known Black distiller in the U.S., who taught his techniques to Jack Daniel.

Charlotte Wine + Food Week

This five-day wine and food experience spans the city and includes events from intimate vintner tastings in local homes and restaurants to a Grand Tasting gala. Event proceeds benefit Charlotte-area children’s charities.
