This Is How Charlotte’s Daily Digital Hamilton Lottery Will Work

MUCH LIKE ITS BROADWAY COUNTERPART, Blumenthal Performing Arts’ #Ham4Ham lottery will be a great way for Charlotteans to get cheap tickets to the much-anticipated run. Forty tickets for every performance, at a cost of $10 each, will be available. And it all begins on Monday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. Those Monday tickets will be for the Wednesday, Oct. 10., performance. (The digital lotteries will always begin two days prior to the corresponding performance.)

As for the mechanics, here's how it works: You download the Hamilton app on iOS or Android and enter. (Or you can enter on the website hamiltonmusical.com/lottery). You'll be notified either way at approximately 11 a.m. the day before the performance. You only get one shot at each performance, and you'll be allowed to purchase up to two tickets, if you win.
