FRIDAY

BLUE MAN GROUP
Donning bald caps and blue paint, the experimental percussion and theater group has dominated the stage since forming in the 1980s. The latest incarnation sees eight shows in Charlotte.

DL HUGHLEY
Hughley is one of the original Kings of Comedy, as dubbed by the Spike Lee effort. However, his Def Jam days are proof that he can handle solo shows just as well.

SATURDAY

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND
Finally, the Boss has returned to the Queen City. See the songwriter and the E Street Band take one of Charlotte’s biggest stages.

LOCAL NATIVES
Straight from your local barista’s Pandora playlist, Local Natives brings indie pop to the Fillmore on April 19. Hummingbird, the group’s sophomore effort, was produced by The National guitarist Aaron Dessner.

CHICK COREA
The jazz/fusion legend provides a solo piano performance in Uptown Charlotte. Fans can look forward to renditions of classics and the composer’s signature brand of improvisation.

SUNDAY

101 INVENTIONS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD
It's the last day to see the exhibit that guides visitors through centuries of progress with towering displays of each invention.
