Personally, I have the daintiest wishbone charm necklace from Laura James, and it's permanently 'round my neck, no matter what I'm wearing–bar none my favorite piece of jewelry. I can't imagine not donning it for 'I do' when the day comes. Even layered with a statement necklace or pearls, a thin chain necklace with a miniscule charm looks positively charming and quintessentially classy for any evening ensemble. Stick to a 19" chain. It's the most flattering length and layers well with other necklaces.
