Resident Culture Beer Pong Tournament

Friday, May 9, Resident Culture South End

Think you’re the best at beer pong? Find out at Resident Culture’s monthly double-elimination tourney. You’ll have fun even if you don’t win a prize, and competitors and spectators alike are invited to enjoy barbecue, beer, and cocktails. The tournament is free, but online registration is required. Check-in is at 7 p.m., and the competition starts at 7:30 p.m.

Sadie’s Flowers Pop-Up at Keepsake Brewery

Centered on the Pavilion in Latta Park, the gathering will have live music, food trucks, a beer garden, a pet parade, kids activities, and more. VisArt Presents: Cruelty-Free Comedy Show

Charlotte comedians and variety entertainers come together for this family-friendly show. Billed for ages 10 and up, it has “stand-up, music, gentle audience interaction, friendly crowd play, surprises, great vibes, and lots of laughter” in a “positive, upbeat, feel-good atmosphere.” (No religion, politics, or mean-spirited humor allowed.) Tickets: $15 ($20 at door). 6-7:30 p.m.

Charlotte Disc Golf Club’s Course Cleanup League
