What’s Happening: Mark Synnott

Whew! There is a lot going on today.

This evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. ice climbing and mountaineering guide Mark Synnott is going to be at Jesse Brown’s Outdoors on Sharon Road for a presentation and autograph signing. Admittedly, we’re not exactly outdoor enthusiasts all of the time. (Sarah would like to note however that she is a proud, card carrying member of REI. Even if most of her time in the store is spent focused on color coordination of outdoor gear rather than functionality.)

However, this looks like it should be a good event. And, when you make the trip to the store tonight, consider taking in an old warm coat to donate—they’ll give you 20% off of your next outwear purchase if you do and your old coat will go to Crisis Assistance Ministry in Charlotte.
