What’s Happening: Michelle Obama Wears Narciso Rodriguez

Yes, we realize that last night was a pretty historical evening for various political and social reasons. But, we’re not a political or social blog. So, we’d like to really get to the root of last night’s issues and talk about what Michelle Obama was wearing for Barack Obama’s acceptance speech.

Initially, we were more than a little surprised by her choice. After all, that was A LOT of red and black and some odd criss crossing styles. However, it’s growing on us. The dress, which is by Narciso Rodriguez (it’s from his Spring 09 RTW collection, seen above), is certainly fashionable. And we can respect anyone who takes a chance with their wardrobe choices.
