What’s Happening: Steve & Barry’s

Whew. That was a close call. Last month Steve & Barry’s filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and for a few weeks there we were wondering what in the world would happen to Bitten, style icon Sarah Jessica Parker’s line for the discount store.

However, today the chain was bought out for $168 million and SJP told WWD that she looks forward to continuing their “strong partnership.” We’re glad to hear it.
