Wine Tasting, Wednesday at Whiskey Warehouse

Open for little more than a year now, Whiskey Warehouse is well-known for its, well, whiskey (there are about 70 whiskeys, scotches, and bourbons on the menu, and Jack Daniels is the house special at $4). But the Plaza Midwood bar that quickly became a neighborhood hot spot (winner of the 2010 Best of the Best for New Bar), also has a pretty good selection of craft beers and is a popular place to watch games (plenty of TVs).
Now, the double-W is diversifying a bit and attempting to elevate its patrons’ palates with the 15 for $15 Wine Tasting and Tutorial. Taking place Wednesday, January 19, at 7 p.m., the event is offering 15 wines to try for $15 a person. There promises to be a balance of reds and whites, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served (you can also order more food from the menu).
There are only a limited number of spaces available. If you’re interested in attending and would like to reserve a spot, send an email to Al@whiskeycharlotte.com.
