Wish Upon A Wedding The Carolinas Blissful Wishes Ball

The Wish Upon A Wedding the Carolinas Chapter hosted its first Blissful Wishes Ball at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte on Friday night. As a founding board member for this chapter, I was so excited to make it to gala night! The amount of participation, donations, and attendance by Charlotte wedding and event professionals and guests was really, really great for a first-year event.

Invitations designed by Aubre from Chic Impressions and printed by Crayton-Heritage letterpress were GORGEOUS, naturally. I loved the fab table decor from Carolyn Shepard Design Group and black Chiavari chairs that Classic Party Rentals provided. The live auction was quite possibly the most entertaining I’ve sat through thanks to Vinnie from Split Second Sound and chapter vice president, Susan Hornsby. Some of the most popular items included a facial from Modern Salon & Spa, a photo session from Lucy Parker Photography, and earrings from Kristin Morris Jewelry.

Two bands—the Fabulous Kays and the Right To Party Band—are to blame for the small blister on my right foot as I’m certain we were on the dance floor for a solid two hours. There was a line for Shutterbooth most of the night—who doesn’t love photos with props after a glass of wine or two? The details, the fun, and the guests were documented by Stikeleather Photography and Catchlight Studios (whose photos are below). Guests enjoyed dinner provided by the Ritz and sipped wines from Millenium Beverage. The icing on the cake (pardon the pun) were the Wowee Pops at each place setting from Amy at The WOW Factor Cakes.
