Charlotte Fashion(s) Week After-parties
I’ve witnessed Charlotte’s fashion scene blossom over the last three or four years. If you’ll notice, several of the events I blog about here on Dusk Till Dawn often feature a fashion show, model call, or is an after-party for a fashion event (I’ve also covered fashion periodically—in my own little way—on my Grown People Talking blog). And Charlotte magazine's style editor, Victoria Robinette, does a great job covering style, shopping, and fashion in the city through her Charlotte Shop Talk blog.
As evidence to how much the scene has grown, we now have two fashion weeks—Charlotte NC Fashion Week and Charlotte Seen Fashion Week—both taking place this week. Charlotte NC Fashion Week is now in its fourth year (click here to read Victoria's breakdown of CNCFW in Charlotte Shop Talk), while this is the inaugural run for Charlotte Seen Fashion Week. Things in the local fashion scene have gotten really competitive, as you can see, and, unfortunately, even divisive. But here on Dusk Till Dawn, we don’t delve into all of that. You came here to party, so that’s what we’re giving you. And to put a positive spin on it, this just gives more opportunities to pop bottles with models!
Here’s the rundown on the after-parties taking place during Charlotte Fashion(s) Week.
